The 104 hour A+/Net+/CCNA course includes: A+ Essentials which validates knowledge of basic computer hardware and operating systems, covering skills such as installation, building, upgrading, repairing, configuring, troubleshooting, optimizing, diagnosing and preventive maintenance, with additional elements of security and soft skills. The Essentials Exam validates the basic skills needed by any entry-level service technician regardless of job environment. Network+ is a vendor neutral certification that measures the technical knowledge of networking professionals with 18 - 24 months experience in the IT industry Earning the Network+ certification means that the candidate possesses the knowledge needed to configure and install the TCP/IP client. CCNA provides a comprehensive introduction to deploying Cisco routers in computer networks. Cisco routers are the industry standard devices that are used to connect computers in local area networks and the internet. Students will learn to identify the major components of a computer system, to define basic computer and networking terminology, and to describe the benefits and functions of the OSI reference model. Students will gain the fundamental knowledge and skills needed to install, configure and troubleshoot Cisco routers. CCNA certified professionals are in great demand in the computer industry today.
